What stays on your device

We store your selected translation, text size, day/night mode preference, and saved verse references in your browser’s local storage. You can remove saved verses on the Saved page, or clear browser data to reset everything.

Requests and hosting

Bible text is served from this website. We use Google Fonts for typography, which sends a request to Google when fonts load. The hosting provider may process ordinary request information such as IP addresses and server logs. Your browser’s speech service may process verse text when you choose Listen, depending on your browser and device.

Email subscriptions

If you request daily Scripture, we use Resend to store your email address, translation preference, confirmation and unsubscribe status, and delivery records. You must confirm your email before daily delivery begins. Confirmation links expire after 24 hours. Every daily email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops this website’s daily emails; it does not remove records needed to prevent further delivery.

Resend processes email content and delivery information, including delivery failures and spam complaints. Our signup endpoint uses a short-lived request limit to reduce abuse. Daily readings arrive at 8 AM in the America/New_York time zone. You can change translations by subscribing again and confirming the new preference.

Sharing

Copy Text and Copy Link write to your clipboard. The X, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Email links open the selected service with the current reading or its link. You choose whether to complete the post or send the message.
